Sustainability

Not a project.
It's how we work.

At Porto Brasil, sustainability isn't a communication decision. It's a production one. Every choice made on the factory floor — how we source, how we fire, how we treat water, what we do with what remains — reflects a commitment that started long before ESG became a business requirement.

We don't report on sustainability. We build it into the product.

How we work
Materials

We produce with natural raw materials. What doesn't meet our technical standards goes back to the supplier. What remains after production doesn't go to waste — part of it goes back directly into our production process, and the rest goes to strategic partners who continue the cycle.

Water

Industrial water is treated and recirculated in a closed-loop system. It doesn't leave. It works again.

Energy

Our kilns run on natural gas, which produces significantly lower CO₂ emissions compared to conventional fossil fuels, as well as virtually no sulfur dioxide and fewer nitrogen oxides. The heat generated by the kilns is reused to increase the energy efficiency of the factory.

Waste

Clays and glazes generated throughout production are recovered and reintroduced into the manufacturing cycle. What cannot be reused internally goes to strategic partners who continue the cycle.

Eco Stone collection
Eco Stone

Every choice reverberates.

Eco Stone is the most direct expression of how we think about production. Developed from recycled clays and glazes recovered from our own factory, each piece is the materialization of a conscious cycle — where what remains becomes what lasts.

Porto Brasil is the first Brazilian industry to develop recycled ceramics at high scale.

This isn't a limited edition. It's a permanent collection. Designed for operations that want performance, aesthetics, and a supply chain story they can stand behind. Ideal for hotels, restaurants, and food service operations with ESG commitments. Full tableware line. Same resistance, same certifications, same standard.

Less waste. More intention. A product your buyers can believe in.
